Our World

Bored County  is an umbrella term that was used to not get overwhelmed with the thought of what “it” should be. “It” meaning the work that I produce and what I think it should look like, mean, feel, etc. Bored County is a thought process of doing and something will be expressed to the viewer and to ultimately to the maker, me. We bottle so much of our emotions and feelings inside that at some point we don’t even know why we feel the way we feel. Bored County work is my way of showing myself what I feel by use of color, line, symbolism, just anything that will get through my thick skull. My only hope is that it gives you, the viewer,  a fraction of what it gives me, the maker.

Bored County is a place to express shared feelings and thoughts.

My name is Eddie Garcia. I am the artist behind the pieces you see and the creator of Bored County. I chose to portray myself as a place rather than a person because that is how I see my work. It is a way to transport you to an idea and take you along for the ride that is the world of Bored County full of joy, heartbreak, sun, and clowns. You never know what you may find.
